Jaguar E-type Restoration Package

Included in this unique opportunity are an almost complete Series 2 open-top roadster and a monocoque and miscellaneous parts from a Series 2 2+2 coupe.
The roadster arrived with a Ford engine and running gear, but also has most of the original parts to put it back to factory spec, including a 4.2 litre engine, gearbox & rear end assembly.
The 2+2 has some steelwork done, the glass, interior panels and seats, and rear end assembly.
Also included in the collection are many spare parts including a fibreglass hood, exhaust parts, spare wheels , drive train parts, etc.

Approximately 12,000 miles since restoration completion by prior owner. Car is in immaculate condition in Olde English white finish with black leather interior. Numbers matching other than the gearbox which was replaced in the early 1970’s
Restoration included:
-Full repaint in olde English white
-A new frame made from heavier gauge steel to provide additional rigidity Inside of the frame rails coated with zinc flurry to prevent rust problems
-All components are new or rebuilt with the exception of the differential -Engine was re-cored, pistons, crank, flywheel/clutch were lightened and balanced.
-Head was ported and polished -Denis Welsh fast road cam was installed
-New Denis Welsh steering box added. -LED lights all round
-Full interior leather from John Skinner installed
